The preparation of becoming a teacher is no easy task. We must all work just as hard, and prepare to fill the younger generations with knowledge.  We must not treat them not only as our students, but as if they were our own children. Show them the proper care and attention to meet their needs. As future teachers we must learn to grab their attention, and make learning fun for all.

It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

About Me

I was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Ever since kindergarten my dream has always been to a teacher. My passion is to teach the younger generations of all the knowledge there is in the world. I have always enjoyed working with kids whether it is tutoring them, teaching them dances or arts and crafts. I enjoy evey minute i spend with kids, they are my world. No matter where I teach, I want to make a difference in the world. I want to show them anything is possible and they can go as far as they want to. I am a very patient person, and open minded to any ideas or suggestions. I graduated from Mission Early College High School on June 4, 2011. I am currently attending UTEP, and I am set on graduating 2 years. After I graduate I tend to go on and obtain my Masters Degree.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is to have fun while learning. I believe children will obtain the information best when they have fun and interact with the lessons. I am currently a confirmation teacher and I use this philosophy while teaching my students. When it comes to my class I lecture for 10 to 15 minutes, than I take a moment to stop and answer any questions the students may have. After answering questions, I hold a discussion in which students will have an opportunity to participate and speak what is on their mind. Either during the same class period or the next time we meet, we will all play games and do activities I create. These games and activities performed in class, gives me a chance to observe if the kids understood the material. It is a chance for the kids to obtain the information better than before and a way I have a chane to asses them. It seems to be working so far and hopefully I can carry this philosophy in the future.
